Arsenal is awaiting medical tests to announce Declan Rice to the fans

On Wednesday, Arsenal finally reached a definitive agreement with West Ham to sign English star Declan Rice. The Gunners will pay £100 million, plus an additional £5 million in bonuses. These details were reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

With this staggering amount, Declan Rice will become Arsenal’s most expensive signing in history and the most expensive English player overall, surpassing even Jude Bellingham, who was recently signed by Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund.

Once the deal is officially confirmed, midfielder Granit Xhaka is expected to finalize his move to Bayer Leverkusen, as previously reported by the journalist. The sporting project of Arsenal was one of the attractions for the player.

There are still a few details remaining for Arsenal to finalize their new signing, which is set to become one of the most significant in their history. The next step will be the completion of the medical tests for the star player, which is likely to take place later this week.

Furthermore, the clubs are also preparing the documents that will be signed to finalize the agreement. It’s just a matter of time. Declan Rice arrives as Arsenal’s key reinforcement for the Champions League campaign, with the team aiming to compete for the title.

Timber could arrive at Arsenal soon

After journalist Fabrizio Romano provided details about Declan Rice’s signing, the next player who is likely to join the Gunners is young Dutch defender Jurrien Timber. He has been in negotiations with the English club for a few weeks now and is close to becoming a new reinforcement.

According to reports, Arsenal has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign the defender for €40 million, with an additional €5 million in bonuses. He will sign with the Gunners until 2028 and is said to be excited to be part of the project being built by Mikel Arteta’s team.
