Manchester City is willing to negotiate and sets a price to sell De Bruyne
With a standout season, securing the best 2022/2023 season, Manchester City reached its peak by winning the Champions League and the Treble. Nevertheless, the club is not hesitant to negotiate with some of its players. Kevin De Bruyne is one of the athletes who have been drawing attention.
Due to the increased value of the players because of this exceptional season, other clubs are already eyeing some of Manchester City’s options for 2024. Consequently, one of the club’s top midfielders has garnered significant interest, particularly from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Kevin De Bruyne is considered one of the best midfielders in the world. As a result, he has been attracting the attention of other clubs for quite some time. However, being an essential part of all of Manchester City’s victories, the club will not make a negotiation easy.
Since the player still has another year and a half left on his contract with the club and with his increased market value, the club understands that eventually they will have to negotiate. Therefore, even though they are not making the deal straightforward, City has decided to negotiate by setting a price for the midfielder.
Manchester City sets a price for Kevin De Bruyne
Because of the interest from Saudi clubs, Manchester City has set an asking price of 57 million euros for Kevin De Bruyne. Thus, with negotiations possibly being agreed upon, the player could be departing for Saudi Arabia in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Although City has engaged in discussions about renewing the player’s contract, Kevin has been sidelined due to an injury at the beginning of the season. Therefore, the club will agree to his transfer, as this year the player is no longer competing and will not set foot on the field until next year.
However, it is worth noting that the midfielder has a well-established career in England, in addition to a strong connection with the fans and the club’s leadership. This is a factor that could influence the direction of the negotiations.
