Released by Juventus, midfielder Paul Pogba is on the radar of two clubs
The French midfielder Paul Pogba, currently with Juventus, is nearing a potential departure as the Italian club has included him in the transfer list. Despite the transfer window being closed in some European leagues, several clubs still express interest in the midfielder.
After a return to Juventus that fell short of expectations, the Italian club appears uninterested in retaining Pogba due to his high salary. The 30-year-old player has featured in only two out of three matches this current season and has failed to make an impression.
With an estimated value of €10 million, two clubs are considering the acquisition of the midfielder. Juventus has indicated its willingness to entertain offers, be it for a loan or a permanent transfer. It is worth noting that there have been recent speculations about the possibility of the midfielder heading to Brazilian football.
Possible destinations for Paul Pogba
According to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Al-Ittihad, the team of Karim Benzema, and Al-Ahli, the team of Roberto Firmino, have shown interest in the talented French player. Both Saudi clubs consider signing the midfielder a priority and may present an offer to Juventus before the close of the transfer window.
The transfer market in Saudi Arabia remains open, and clubs are seizing the opportunity to acquire more European football stars. Paul Pogba is one of the primary targets for this season. Despite recent physical issues, the midfielder has consistently demonstrated technical quality and skill on the field.
The transfer window closes on September 7, and clubs are attempting to convince Pogba to consider a move to the Saudi Arabian League project. However, the player appears focused on regaining his form at Juventus and shows some reluctance to move to Arab football.
Pogba returned to Juventus last year with high expectations but has faced several physical problems and has only managed to participate in ten matches. The French midfielder is under contract with the Italian club until June 2026.
