PSG and United will be competing for the player’s signature

The PSG board is seeking a major overhaul of their squad for the upcoming European season. The club has already offloaded several players and is actively looking at various market options. The management aims to strengthen their attack, especially after a conflict with Mbappe, and has entered into several player pursuits.

This week, the club joined Manchester United in the race for the Serie A star. At only 20 years old, Højlund has been impressive both in the Italian Serie A and during the Euro 2024 qualifiers. In his debut season at Atalanta, he played 34 games, scored 10 goals, and provided 4 assists.

He has made quite an impression with the Danish national team: in 4 games played in 2023, he scored 6 goals in 3 matches. Højlund has shone during the Euro qualifiers, showcasing great speed and deadly accuracy in front of the goal.

Top European clubs remain focused on the center-forward. Rasmus Højlund’s name might continue to make headlines during the transfer window. The promising young Danish player is seen as having the potential to become one of the best in the world in the future, which is why PSG and Manchester United are interested in him.
