PSG lowers its asking price and could finalize the sale of Kylian Mbappé

After a long and intense transfer saga, it seems that the future of the talented forward Kylian Mbappé is about to be decided. With the player’s desire, PSG is willing to lower their asking price for him.

The destination that appears increasingly likely for Mbappé is Real Madrid, the club where the attacker wants to play. Therefore, negotiations indicate that the French player is close to donning the white shirt and fulfilling his dream of playing in one of the most competitive and prestigious leagues in the world.

For PSG, letting go of their talented forward is a decision that involves various factors, from financial considerations to the player’s own desire to seek new challenges. The club tried to renew the contract with the athlete, but without success.

Thus, in order not to miss the chance to profit from his sale, the club is willing to reduce the current transfer value, which is around 200 million euros. The refusal to renew the contract caused discomfort and put PSG in a difficult position. In six months, the player can sign with another club without any transfer fee.

Mbappé Situation

Mbappé excelled wearing the Parisian jersey and won important titles, but his ambition and desire to grow professionally led him to decide not to renew with the team, which had so far hindered his sale.

Now with limited options, the club has decided to cooperate. However, Al-Hilal even proposed a purchase of the player for 300 million euros. Nevertheless, the player refused to even participate in the meetings, ruling out the possibility of transferring to the club.

On the other hand, even with the dream of playing for Real Madrid, Mbappé still remains without a definite direction. The club’s coach stated that he is content with his current attacking squad. Thus, despite the reduction in the financial compensation, there is still no official agreement to secure the forward’s transfer in this window.
